Returnable Can Collections
A good bale of hay costs $2.00 = 40 cans!

Dear Friends in Western New York,
I have been busy trying to bring in money to secure the winter's supply of hay. Sometimes a group will do a can collection drive. Maybe some of your friends might want to help! 4-H? Scouts? FFA? Church? Lodge? Legion? A bale of good hay is $2 or 40 cans! Every can counts! I can pick up the cans once they are collected. My van can transport a lot of cans. The back is approx 6' wide, 5'high and 9'long! I really need a few groups throughout the Finger Lakes region and Western NY to do something like this, boy would it help!!! Don't live nearby, collect the cans, cash them in and send a check with your groups information for proper credit! Having the responsibility to care for all these animals is a lot of stress, but it is worth it in the long run. Having someone out there who cares & tries to help, makes the load a little easier to carry! Please e-mail or call me for more information on how you can help! Where there is a will, there is a way!

Special Friends!

Thank you Sue and Babe, for all you do. When you stop by and help
with chores or do up some bread, it is like a mini vacation! Sometimes
I can even get something else done! And it helps knowing someone else
cares for the animals here !

Thank you to the"guy from Las Vegas" for the 2 big bales of hay, it came
at a time when there was no money till next week and those
bales kept everyone happy!
